Join us for a free workshopPublished 2:34pm Friday, February 22, 2013
I get the chance to sit down and talk to small business owners every week about advertising, advertising budgets, the multitude of options and – principally – the most effective options. In this area, businesses are almost bombarded with advertising options and different avenues they can use to get their message to prospective customers and clients.
There’s print, television, radio, billboards and, of course, the Internet. Some methods are effective, some are not.
Surprisingly, it’s not as complicated as you think.
The Wetumpka Herald will host one of the nation’s leading Internet marketing experts in a free workshop, Grow Your Business on the Web. Mike Blinder will lead participants in understanding digital media and how to use it to make their operations more successful. Blinder is an expert in marketing and sales and is also the author of Survival Selling.
We are very excited to offer this level of expertise to the businesses in our communities. Please join us for this free workshop. We will hold the workshop in two locations.
•Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the private room of Coaches Corner in downtown Wetumpka.
•Thursday, Feb. 28, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the private room of 1220 Café on Gilmer Avenue in Tallassee.
Participants will have the chance to learn more about digital media advertising and sample food from two popular area restaurants. It’s free.
There is limited seating, so please register today by visiting www.localmediaworkshops.com, calling 334-567-7811, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
