•Trinity Episcopal Church of Wetumpka will hold a memorial prayer service for the victims of the bombings that occurred during the Boston Marathon April 17 at 6 p.m. Everyone welcome.

•Faith Baptist Church will hold a gospel singing April 20 at 6 p.m. featuring Pure Heart of Jacksonville, Fla. Pastor Gerald Wood and the church family invites everyone to attend.

•The second annual All Day Gospel Singing will be held at Titus Community Center April 20, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $5 per person, children 12 and younger admitted free. Featuring Forgiven Heart, Solid Rock, The Larch Family, The Good News Quartet, Gospel 3 Trio, Bubba and Jessica Wood, Scott Murchison and Troy Tillerson, June Talley Taylor and Whitney Moble. There will be concession and arts and crafts booth. Bring lawn chairs. In case of rain, the singing will be held in the firehouse.

•Mitts Chapel Baptist Church in Deatsville will hold a one-day only Vacation Bible School April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. It’s Greek to Me! is open to pre-K through sixth grade students. Youth are encouraged to return at 7 p.m. for the drive-in. For more information, call 334-569-1952.

•Elmore County Shaped Note Singing Convention will meet at Cedarwood Community Church, Highway 231 N. in Wetumpka April 20 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and sing old favorite songs and hymns. Books available for everyone to pick their favorite song. Refreshments and fellowship to follow singing. •The Proclaimers Quartet from Columbus, Ga. will perform at Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka April 21 at 6 p.m.

•Mt. Zion #3 Missionary Baptist Church in Eclectic will hold a pastoral installation service for Rev. and Sister JaCorey Calloway April 21 at 2:30 p.m. The theme will be Jeremiah 3:15, II Timothy 4:1-8, A shepherd after God’s own heart preaching in season and out of season. Guest minister will be Rev. Bernard Harris, pastor of Mt. Lovely Missionary Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Ala.

•Tim Daugherty and Pure Heart will be in concert at Beulah Baptist Church April 21 at 6 p.m. A love offering will be received. The church is located at 2320 Grier Road, Wetumpka. The public is encouraged to attend.

•A “Back to Basics” VBS Training event will be held April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Wetumpka. It will provide help for VBS teachers and leaders, regardless of the them to be used this year. Conference will cofer general VBS subjects, as well as LifeWay Theme “Colossal Coaster World.”

•One of Israel’s leading tour guides will present a media show on the Holy Land April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Fannin Road Baptist Church in Montgomery. Information will also be available on an upcoming trip to the “Promised Land.” No admission. For info, call Billy Evans at 334-398-3650.

•Wallsboro United Methodist Church will host a free outdoor movie on a big screen April 27 at dark (about 8 p.m.). Movie is Disney’s animated film “Up!” about finding one’s self by fulfilling a lifelong dream. Chairs will be provided, but guests can bring their own. Free popcorn, candy and drinks. Bring the whole family. The movie will be moved inside if rain or bad weather. The church is located at 11066 U.S. Highway 231 in the Wallsboro area of Wetumpka.

•The annual Dolly Boshell Singing will be April 27 at Antioch Baptist Church in Titus. Supper will be at 5:30 p.m .and the singing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Forgiven Heart will be the guest singers. Everyone is invited.

•First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka will host a Rejuvenation Conference April 28. Guest speakers will be Walter and Dean Albritton. Scheduled speaking time are 8:15 a.m., 9:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. There will be a covered dish luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Bring a dish and join in.

•A dedication ceremony for Mt. Hebron East Baptist Church will be held April 28 at 10:30 a.m.

•The Proclaimers Quarter with Jeff Lanier from Columbus, Ga. will be in concert April 28 at 6 p.m. at Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. All are welcome. Refreshments to follow. For information or directions to the church, call 334-569-2421.

•The Larch Family 25th Anniversary Celebration will be held May 4 at 6 p.m. at Victory Temple Church in Wetumpka. The Dalton Gang, Tom Snowden, Calvin Thornton and the Victory Choir will be featured.
