Mrs. Eva Clark Raines, a resident of Wetumpka, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
The family will receive friends 9-10 a.m. June 7 at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. June 7 at Cain’s Chapel with the Rev. Susan Beeson officiating.
Visitation will also be held 2-3 p.m. June 7 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora. Chapel services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Salter officiating. Interment will follow at McCormack Cemetery in Dora with Gassett Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Raines is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tom Raines; sons, John (Teresa) Raines Jr.; David (Cindy) Raines, and Randy (Kathy) Raines; grandchildren: Jason (Tori) Salter, Thomas Raines, Blake Raines, Cady Raines, Summer Raines, Cody Spivey, and Trent Spivey; great grandson, Landin Salter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruby Clark, one brother, and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Raines, Jim Raines, Ronnie Raines, Thomas Raines, Jason Salter and Michael Hood.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to Sumiton United Methodist Church, 1040 Main St., Sumiton, AL 35148, where she was a lifelong member.
