Vendor applications being accepted for WHS Indian MarketPublished 6:39pm Monday, October 21, 2013
Vendor applications are currently being accepted for the Wetumpka High School’s Indian Market. Deadline for vendor registration is Oct. 30 and the craft and holiday market will be held Nov. 2.
The market is a project sponsored by the Wetumpka High DECA Club, an association of marketing students.
“It is a fall and holiday shopping experience,” said Julie Crockett, club sponsor. “We are encouraging home-based businesses or anyone who makes arts, crafts, jewelry, candles or any type of product or service to participate. Anyone is welcome to rent space for their products”
Crockett said booths are $40 for a 10×10 space and $65 for a 10×20 space. Vendor setup will be from 6:30 to 8 a.m. the day of the market.
The market itself will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“We expect customer attendance to be high,” said Crockett. “The WHS parking lot will be the location of the Chris Davis Memorial Car Show and a Drive One 4 UR School fundraiser that day. Both of those events will come with their own crowds of Indian Market shoppers.”
To register as a vendor, email Crockett at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 334-567-5158 and leave a message for her.
