Dear Editor,
Regretting not writing this letter two weeks before now and praying it is not too late to sway voters away from Donald Trump.
My Daddy always said, “The measure of a man is not how much wealth he has, but how many people he has helped!” Don’t think Trump will help you in any way, instead he plans to take our liberties away and erase them altogether. He already stated such when he said, “Elect me and you’ll never have to vote again.” HE MEANS IT! Imagine how tragic it will be without the freedom of worship, freedom of speech, the freedom to have our choice of books, the freedom to vote. Can you think of him as a grandfather reading his choice of books to your child? He is evil and a coward and would give away our country for a compliment from Putin to feed his ever-growing ego. He came into power when the economy was booming; low interest rates, no gas shortages and no war on the horizon. And then COVID HIT. He made a joke about the pandemic until he got sick! He said, “I could have died!” A lot of people did while he sent out free COVID tests to Russia. Senators and Representatives of the Republican Party, please lead our country in the right direction by voting TRUMP away for good. You can always revert back to your party of choice after you take away his power to destroy and put it back into the hands of the people, for the people and by the people. Mitch McConnell, do your job as their leader and help make us a proud nation again!! Don’t wait until there is another invasion of our Capitol!! May we all continue to praise God, and may He continue to Bless America!
