Stanhope Elmore hosted Elmore County and Booker T. Washington on Tuesday for an OTA, the first football activity at the new facilities at 17 Springs. The Mustangs took advantage of the opportunity in order to get acclimated to the new home field environment they’ll have this year.

Stanhope Elmore attended an OTA at Holtville on Thursday morning with Montevallo. Football coach Hunter Adams wanted to use the opportunity to rotate in as many players as possible in order to create depth and experience in the roster ahead of this season. 

Holtville is the newest Elmore County school that is adding a girls wrestling program. The development of this new team will be undertaken by second-year wrestling coach Connor Blakely, who is excited about the expansion of the sport.
